TOKYO - Teradata Japan, Ltd. (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Yukihiko Yoshikawa; hereinafter called "Teradata") has created a new partner awards program called "Teradata Japan Partner Award" and presented three awards for outstanding performance in 2011. Teradata Japan recognized NTT DATA Corporation as Partner of the Year, presented Accenture Japan Ltd with the Enterprise Data Warehouse Awardand granted TIS Inc. the Data Warehouse Appliance Award.

The Teradata Japan Partner Award program was created to further enhance the support and improve the services provided to customersby Teradata's partners. Teradata Japan will continue to launch new award categories, over time, to cover its expanding range of products and solutions. The selection criteria for receiving recognition included how effectively each helped its customers transform data into valuable business intelligenceand drive business innovation with Teradata technologies.

Partner of the Year: NTT DATA Corporation
The Partner of the Year award is given to a partner company that has accomplished the most significant achievements in the sale and implementation of Teradata's data warehouse products and Professional Services.

Despite last year's challenging business climate, NTT DATA Corporation proposed and implemented many innovative solutions that leveraged Teradata data warehouse products for a wide variety of customers primarily focused on the finance, retailand communications industries. In addition, the company actively addressed the cultivation of specialists in data warehousing on a continuous basis, training more than 100 Teradata databasetechnicians during the previous year alone.

Enterprise Data Warehouse Award: Accenture Japan Ltd.

The Enterprise Data Warehouse Award is given to a partner company that has accomplished the most significant achievements in the sale and implementation of a Teradata Enterprise Data Warehouse, which integrates and centralizes the enterprise-wide utilization of data.

Accenture Japan Ltd., with excellent consulting services, worked with customers primarily in the financial sector on large-scale information utilization systems to deploy Teradata data warehouses. One result of these efforts is that Accenture Japan is currently working with these customers to implement large-scale Enterprise Data Warehouse systems.

The Data Warehouse Appliance Award is given to a partner company that has accomplished the most significant achievements in the sale and implementation ofTeradata data warehouse appliances.

TIS Inc., with its knowledge of how to build and operate data warehouses, submitted many sales proposals based on Teradata technologies. Furthermore, TIS Inc. expertly addressed the specific requests of each customer and completed implementations speedily by taking advantage of the benefits of the data warehouse appliance platform.
