TERNA: S&P IMPROVES ITS LONG TERM CORPORATE CREDIT RATING Rome, October 30, 2017 - S&P Global Ratings (S&P) improved its long-term corporate credit rating on Terna SpA from 'BBB' to 'BBB+', affirming at the same time the short-term rating of the Company at 'A-2'. The outlook assigned to the rating is stable.

The upgrade of Terna follows the upgrade of the Republic of Italy from 'BBB-' to 'BBB' and reflects the Company's stand-alone credit profile (SACP), which S&P assesses at 'a-'.
