The initiative taking place as part of the partnership between Terna and the prestigious Italian theatre this coming 19 April will give graduates the chance to put their talents 'under the spotlight'.

A unique opportunity to make yourself known to and win the admiration of Terna, the operator of the Italian electricity grid, a symbol of Italian excellence that places innovation at the heart of all its projects.
100 Economics and Engineering graduates with marks of at least 105/110, a good level of English and under 30 years old have been invited to present themselves and work together in a drama workshop. This is aimed at revealing aptitudes and abilities which will be evaluated by professional assessors, useful for Terna in hiring new talent.

The entire day will be spent on the stage at the Eliseo Theatre in Rome; the youths, split into groups and helped by drama teachers, will face the day's challenges, experiencing a unique opportunity for growth and learning.

Leadership, a result-orientated approach, teamwork, flexibility and an aptitude for all things digital are just some of the skills which the youths will be asked to put on show, away from a typical assessment centre set-up.

The day will take place in four phases, simulating what it's like to put on a theatrical performance: from writing to casting, from the trailer to getting on the stage.

Terna's partnership with the Eliseo Theatre has also brought about other initiatives fostering greater cultural understanding among the youth of today. With Terna ti invita a Teatro [Terna invites you to the theatre] the company has given students from certain secondary schools in Rome the opportunity to visit the Eliseo Theatre for free to see shows being held there this season.

Silvia Marinari, Head of HR and Organisation at Terna made the following statement: 'The recruitment day on 19 April is part of our project to modernise how we attract people to Terna and engage with them. We are looking for talent, passion and energy to take on the challenges and the development and growth programmes we foresee in the coming years. Thanks to our partnerships and unprecedented initiatives we are making ourselves known and attracting the best talent on the market.'

Luca Barbareschi added: 'As Artistic Director at the Eliseo Theatre, I am very happy to hold this event which places young people in the spotlight and rewards their initiative spirit and desire to put themselves to the test in a creative environment. I hope it is a day of discovering new talents and reigniting the passion that touches everyone's life, at all ages!'
