- distribution in the United Kingdom: food and non food distribution (textile products, pharmaceuticals, computers, optics, household appliances, etc.) through 3,146 stores. The group also offers telephony services through Tesco Mobile (British no. 1). Tesco also has an on-line purchasing site, Tesco.com;
- international: owns, as of 23/02/2013, 3,638 outlets located in Asia (2,131) and Europe (1,507);
- financial services (Tesco Bank): insurance, loans, savings, payment card issuance, etc.
Net sales break down geographically as follows: the United Kingdom (67.3%), Europe (15.2%) and Asia (17.5%).
