Tesco to cut diesel prices by up to 2ppl this afternoon

Britain's biggest fuel retailer has cut the cost of diesel by up to two pence per litre at all of its petrol filling stations. The changes will come into effect from 1pm this afternoon.

Tesco's network of 500 petrol filling stations is the largest of all UK supermarkets and the drop means millions of motorists across the country can save even more.

Peter Cattell, Fuel Director for Tesco said: "We know that saving money on fuel is really important to our customers, especially when the kids are on a school break and families are looking to enjoy days out together, so we're dropping the cost of diesel by up to 2ppl at all of our 500 filling stations."
