Ventev Mobile, a unit of TESSCO Technologies, today announced two new mobile device chargers featuring Qualcomm® Quick Charge™ 2.0 technology – the new Ventev Dashport™ q1200 and Wallport™ q1200 car and wall chargers. Quick Charge 2.0 is a technology of Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Qualcomm Incorporated. Utilizing Quick Charge 2.0 technology, the mobile device chargers are designed to charge mobile devices up to 75% faster than using conventional USB charging. The Ventev Dashport q1200 and Wallport q1200 are among the first car and wall chargers certified by the products safety and standards group, UL, to meet Quick Charge 2.0 requirements.

Ventev’s new Quick Charge 2.0 chargers can be purchased beginning in November at www.ventev.com/mobile, and from select cellular and consumer electronics resellers.

Quick Charge 2.0 is the next generation of fast charging technology for enabled devices, including the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, HTC One M8, Motorola Moto X, and a growing list of other handsets, tablets and devices, including larger mobile computing devices such as slim notebooks.

The Dashport q1200 and Wallport q1200 are single output chargers and offer true universal charging with no need for multiple adapters.
