Tetra Tech, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTEK) announced today it has been awarded a five-year Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity, $30 million contract with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) to provide engineering services for the NIST Center for Neutron Research (NCNR).

Tetra Tech will support the NCNR by providing world-class engineering services, including conceptual design/requirements analysis, and systems design and integration services to support upgrades for scientific instrumentation, procedures, and other NCNR components. In addition, Tetra Tech will develop new tools and systems to support the research objectives at the NCNR.

The NCNR includes a heavy water cooled and moderated nuclear test reactor licensed by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission that provides neutrons for cutting-edge research in biology, materials science, chemistry, and physics. www.ncnr.nist.gov.
