Thai Airways International PCL : Clarification on THAI's 2013 Financial Performance

Thai Airways International Public Company Limited is a Thailand-based company, which is engaged in the operation of airline business and business units which related directly with transportation. The Company operates through three segments. Air Transportation segment consists of passenger, freight, and mail services. Business Units segment is related directly to transportation activities, which include cargo and mail commercial, ground customer services, ground support equipment services, and catering services. Other Activities segment is involved in transportation supporting activities, which include flight management services, sale of duty-free goods, sale of souvenir products from maintenance division and operation of subsidiaries. The Company has the routes network servicing to approximately 34 destinations in 18 countries all over the world. Its subsidiary, Thai Smile Airways Company Limited, has the routes network servicing to approximately 23 destinations in eight countries.
