Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) announced a ticket change waiver for passengers affected by the earthquake in Osaka, Japan.

Flight Lieutenant Pratana Patanasiri, THAI Vice President, Aviation Safety, Security & Standards, said that THAI was unaffected by the earthquake in Osaka, Japan and continues to operate regularly scheduled roundtrip flights to Osaka since Kansai International Airport remains open. As public ground transportation was affected, some passengers could not check-in to flight TG623 and were transported on flight TG673 that departed from Kansai International Airport on 18 June 2018 at 17.35 hours (local time) and arrived at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport at 21.25 hours. THAI has waived the ticket change fee for passengers affected by the earthquake in Osaka for the period 18 June - 2 July 2018, whereby conditions may apply.
