Mr. Charamporn Jotikasthira, President of Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI), recently attended the Association of Asia Pacific Airlines (AAPA) 60th Assembly of Presidents in Manila, The Philippines along with 15 other AAPA member airlines' CEOs, Presidents, and Executive Officers. The AAPA is the trade association for scheduled international airlines based in the Asia-Pacific region.

The Assembly's agenda included key areas as the growth in travel demand in Asia Pacific region, aviation infrastructure improvement, aviation safety, regulations and many other issues of importance to the aviation industry, with a unique Asia pacific perspective. This year, Mr. Jotikasthira was one of three panelists along with another airline CEO and an aviation analyst, while a representative from IATA was moderator. The topic of the panel discussion was 'Outlook & Challenges of the Aviation Industry'.
