Dow Izolan, Dow's joint venture company in Russia for polyurethane systems production, has been named by the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP) among the top winners of the All-Russian Contest "Best Russian Companies. Evolution, Efficiency, Responsibility - 2011". Dow Izolan received the award in the prestigious category "Sustainable Dynamics of Business Development" along with other local chemical players such as Altai-Koks, Kuchuk Sulphate and Polyef.

The awarding ceremony took place in Moscow on February 9, 2012 at the XIX Annual Convention of RSPP within the week of the Russian business. Awards were presented directly to the winning companies across the major categories, which included energy efficiency, corporate social responsibility, innovation, human resource development, productivity increases, and more.

The contest results were summarized by RSPP following a rigorous evaluation based on the corporate financial reports. Total number of participants exceeded 500 with the majority of applications submitted in the category "Sustainable Dynamics of Business Development". RSPP Deputy Vice President V.M. Cherepov emphasized the increased level of companies' participation in the contest in comparison with the previous years. The finalized list of the winners and nominees was confirmed on January 20, 2012 by RSPP President A.N. Shokhin.

In 2011, Dow Izolan demonstrated increase in sales and productivity as well as continued developing new markets - the criteria which were considered in the selection procedure of the contest in the category "Sustainable Dynamics of Business Development". In 2011, Dow Izolan marked its 5th Anniversary of continued business success in Russia.
