Celebrating websites that are innovative, disruptive or simply plain useful, the mission Good Web Guide Website of the Year Awards for 2017 have launched today.

The Awards, which have been branded under the mission for the first time, also mark the third consecutive year that the marketing and communications Group has acted as the headline sponsor.

The Awards, which aim to champion websites of businesses both large and small, cover a wide range of categories relating to lifestyle interests. Retail, Home & Interiors, Food & Drink and Leisure & Travel all feature.

Last year, online florist Bloom & Wild won the coveted overall Website of the Year Award, noted for their fresh approach and attention to detail.

The Award judges, who will begin reviewing entries in October in time for the Awards night on 6 November, come from a variety of business backgrounds. 2017 judges include designer Sophie Conran, Instagrammers Twins That Travel, Clare Hornby of fashion brand, Me&Em, tech entrepreneur, Rupa Ganatra and fashion entrepreneur, Carmen Haid. Sam Crocker, Matt Isherwood and Alan Thorpe from the mission will also sit on the judging panel.
