Several Media Companies Seek Unsealing Of George Zimmerman Court Records -NYT

More than 20 media companies have filed a motion to oppose the sealing of records involving the Florida trial of George Zimmerman, the New York Times reported Monday.
The participants, which include New York Times Co. (>> The New York Times Company), CNN, the Associated Press and Gannett Co. (>> Gannett Co., Inc.), argue that records were improperly sealed following a request by Zimmerman's attorney, the Times reported.
Special prosecutor Angela B. Corey said that in "some extremely high-profile cases, we do attempt to limit the amount of details that get published." She said she is reviewing the motion and the media companies' concerns, the Times reported.
