Subject: Consolidation of Binh Minh Plastics Joint Stock Company in Vietnam

Reference is made to the March 13, 2018 notification of The Siam Cement Public Company Limited (or "SCC") to the Stock Exchange of Thailand (or "SET"), regarding the successful bid for additional 29.5% stakes in Binh Minh Plastics Joint Stock Company (or "BMP") from the State Capital Investment Corporation (or "SCIC") on Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange by The Nawaplastic Industries (Saraburi) Company Limited (or "Nawaplastic"), a 99.8%(indirect stake) subsidiary of SCC, resulting in Nawaplastic's total stake in BMP to reach 49.9%.

This hereby notifies that Nawaplastic has purchased BMP shares in Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange of additional 1% in an approximately of 80 million Baht transaction which made Nawaplastic's existing stake in BMP become 50.9% and BMP is considered a consolidated subsidiary of SCC.

In FY2017 BMP had net revenues of 3,825 Billion Vietnam Dong (approximately 5,238 million Baht), and assets of 2,872 Billion Vietnam Dong (approximately 3,934 million Baht).

This investment is considered an asset acquisition transaction. The size of this transaction is 0.01% of total assets stated in SCC consolidated financial statements as at December 31, 2017, and when combined with those in the past six months prior to the date of this transaction, the total size is 0.90%. Thus, the disclosure of this transaction is not required pursuant to disclosure rule for the acquisition and disposition of assets. This transaction is not a connected transaction.
