The list is based on direct feedback from employees at hundreds of organizations across Canada surveyed by Great Place to Work.

In determining the Best Workplaces for Inclusion 2018 list, Great Place to Work analyzed employee responses to inclusion-related Trust Index survey statements, as well as the organizations' workplace programs and practices that support inclusion. For a company to be included on the list, at least 90% of Canada-based employees surveyed at that company must have reported they are treated fairly, regardless of personal characteristics such as gender, ethnicity, age, and sexual orientation.
