"We have seen a pause in a rise in national CD rates a couple weeks after the Fed signaled to savers that the central bank will start to increase interest rates by 2015," reported Joe Deaux, TheStreet's Economics Analyst. "Despite a quiet week, market participants should remain optimistic that a rising rate environment will slowly push higher the yield on cash investments."
