London - Thomson Reuters, the world's leading source of intelligent information for businesses and professionals, has won five awards at the Profit & Loss Readers' Choice Digital Markets Awards 2014 - a record for Thomson Reuters at this event.

Thomson Reuters received awards for its foreign exchange platforms, including the comprehensive end-to-end solution for institutional foreign exchange trading FXall and anonymous electronic matching service Thomson Reuters Matching, and for Thomson Reuters Eikon, the flagship financial services desktop.

The awards are the result of polls held among subscribers, who represent active professionals in the world's foreign exchange markets. They therefore offer an authoritative user's perspective of the financial services and platforms they use daily, reflecting their needs for breadth and depth of information across the markets.

"These awards are particularly important to us because they come from our valued clients," said James Kwiatkowski, global head of sales for Foreign Exchange at Thomson Reuters. "We would like to thank them for giving us a record number of recognitions this year.

"These honours represent a vote of confidence by our clients, not only in the services we currently provide but also in our commitment to innovate and to anticipate our clients' needs in these fast-moving markets. We will continue to ensure clients have everything they need to maximize performance at every stage of the trading lifecycle, including immediate, actionable market intelligence and robust, reliable transactions capabilities integrated into their unique workflow."

  • Best non-bank platform (corporate) - FXall;
  • Best multi-dealer platform - FXall;
  • Best electronic communication network (ECN) - Thomson Reuters Matching;
