IVG certification for Thrace NG nonwoven geotextiles
Complying with the specifications of the German market
Following the audition of an independent certification body both on production processes and product quality, Thrace NG has been granted the German IVG certification for the GRK classes 3, 4 & 5 of its nonwoven geotextiles. The IVG (Industrieverband Geokunststoffe) certification guarantees the conformance of Thrace NG geosynthetics to the German standard specifications, allowing the company to be involved in future public sector projects. With Germany being the second largest European market for nonwoven geotextiles, the IVG accreditation is expected to further establish Thrace NG's leading position in the global geosynthetics' market.
Thrace Group Nonwoven Geotextiles are produced on both sides of the Atlantic with the latest state-of-the-art fibre extruders and needle punching lines. Apart from the recent acquisition of the IVG certification, Thrace Group geotextiles also comply with the ASQUAL, NORGEO and AASHTO standards of the French, Scandinavian and American markets respectively.
