MARKET COMMENT: Frankfurt Stocks Close Slightly Lower

1554 GMT [Dow Jones] DAX closes 0.3% lower at 6264.38, put under heavy pressure by an unexpectedly weak reading from the Chicago PMI toward the end of the session, a trader says. Adding to negative sentiment is continued uncertainty about Spain's financial sector, says another. In individual stocks in Frankfurt, ThyssenKrupp ends 3.9% adrift, MAN loses 2.2% and HeidelbergCement sheds 2.0%. Macroeconomic releases scheduled for Friday include German manufacturing PMI [0755 GMT], and euro-zone manufacturing PMI [0800 GMT] and labor data [0900 GMT].
