Tiszai Vegyi Kombinat Nyrt (Tisza Chemical Group Public Ltd Co) is a Hungary-based chemical company. It is engaged in the production of chemical raw materials for plastic processing from a variety of hydrocarbons. Its offering includes ethylene, propylene, polymers and olefin, which are traded both on domestic and foreign markets. The Company's organizational structure comprises two segments, namely Petrochemical, and Corporate and other. The production process includes two stages: making monomers and polymerization. The Company's olefin plants convert naphtha, gasoil and liquefied gases into ethylene and propylene, which are processed into low density polyethylene (LDPE), medium and high density polyethylene (HDPE) and polypropylene (PP). The Company has three wholly owned subsidiaries: TVK France Sarl, TVK Ingatlankezelo Kft and TVK Eromu Termelo es Szolgaltato Kft, an electric utility company. MOL Hungarian Oil and Gas Plc is the main shareholder of the Company.
