Moscow, June 18, 2012 - TNK-BP has received the prestigious
international GetEnergy Awards prize for the greatest
contribution to staff training and development, which is
awarded each year to a company in the oil & gas industry.
TNK-BP received the award at the GetEnergy Global 2012
conference in London, which was attended by training
organizations and oil & gas companies from around the
world.
The forum participants - over 200 managers and training
directors from oil & gas companies such as Shell, BP,
ConocoPhillips, Chevron and Lukoil, and also international
training providers, including NExT (Schlumberger), IFG,
IHRDC and SPE - highly commended TNK-BP's system for
developing competencies in key technical disciplines.
Following a vote, TNK-BP came top in one of the four prize
categories. In 2010, the prize was won by Total, and in
2011, by Saudi Aramco.
Andrey Yanovsky, TNK-BP's Vice President, HR and
Organizational Development, stressed: "Receiving this award
is an important indication that our staff training and
development programmes comply with high international
standards. People are TNK-BP's main priority and their
professional development is a key requirement for
effectively addressing the strategic tasks facing the
Company."
