Tobu Railway (Head office: Sumida-ku, Tokyo; President: Yoshizumi Nezu) is updating its passenger tickets exclusively for international tourists visiting the Nikko-Kinugawa Onsen area from July 1 (Sun), making them more straightforward, more convenient, and better-value.

◆We are consolidating our discount passes currently on sale into two: the new NIKKO PASS all area and NIKKO

PASS world heritage area. Their main features are as follows.

・NIKKO PASS all area

In addition to what is offered for the existing NIKKO ALL AREA PASS, this new pass gives a lot more mobility in the Okunikko area as it lets you ride with Chuzenjiko Cruise and Akechidaira Ropeway as well as on the Edo Wonderland bus route in the Kinugawa Onsen area.

・NIKKO PASS world heritage area

The new pass offers the same benefits as the existing NIKKO CITY AREA PASS, but the price is reduced from 2,670 yen to 2,000 yen, making it even easier to enjoy sightseeing in the area.

◆The three tourist passes combining admission to theme parks in the Kinugawa Onsen area with passenger tickets will be discontinued as part of this update, yet you will be eligible for discounts at Tobu World Square and Edo Wonderland by presenting either of the two tourist passes listed above.

-Update Details-

Tobu Railway will continue to enhance convenience for international tourists, attract visitors by improving infrastructure, as well as contribute to Japan's promotion of tourism and the vitalization of railway regions.
