As TEPCO enters a phase of major change in the energy industry, in response to full deregulation of the retail electricity market, we transitioned today to a holding company system that aims for both 'responsibility and competition' while at the same time, more specifically, ensures completion of decommissioning, compensation for the accident at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station, and Fukushima's revitalization for the future.

In order to secure human resources that create new values continuously in this business environment and to transfer technologies and transition skills, 555 new employees joined today as new hires (46 were recruited from Universities, vocational schools and high schools from Fukushima Prefecture).
