Incorporated (hereinafter called TEPCO Holdings) will begin inviting proposals on expertise and advanced technology applicable to the decommissioning of Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station through 'TEPCO CUUSOO,' an open innovation platform (website).

While TEPCO Group has been proceeding with decommissioning, it is important to gather and utilize wisdom from Japan and abroad to proceed more efficiently and effectively. So far, TEPCO Holdings has introduced technology from Japan and abroad by making use of the results of studies conducted by various research institutes or through organizations having cooperative relationships with TEPCO Holdings both within and outside of Japan. TEPCO Holdings has decided to start inviting applications online at a website to gather expertise and advanced technology more widely and openly.

TEPCO Holdings will utilize the expertise and technology gained from this request and will proceed steadily with measures for decommissioning.

While the proposed ideas submitted through this process will be screened and evaluated for adoption, TEPCO Group will discuss in detail with individual proposers on implementation for solving the issues. For details, please see our website: https://tepco.cuusoo.com (operated by CUUSOO SYSTEM).
