Global professional services company Towers Watson (NASDAQ:TW) has been named a Leader on the 2015 Global Outsourcing 100® list by the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals® (IAOP). This is the fifth year Towers Watson has been recognized on the list, which includes 75 established Leaders and 25 smaller Rising Stars from around the world and across the outsourcing industry. Towers Watson’s overall score of 5.25 across all judging categories exceeded the average company score of 4.70.

In 2014, Towers Watson jumped 50 places to earn a 21st-place ranking on the list of 100. The IAOP discontinued ranking companies this year in favor of emphasizing programs for innovation and corporate social responsibility, and identifying the best companies in each of four judging categories. This year, under the new system, Towers Watson was named one of the Best Leaders in Revenue Growth and one of the Best Leaders in Employee Growth.

Towers Watson also earned a distinguished star rating for programs for innovation, in recognition of programs like its industry-leading OneExchange private health insurance exchange solution, which serves all workforce populations, and a redesigned employee experience that makes it easier for people to select and evaluate benefits when enrolling as well as get their data and make changes on demand.

“Towers Watson is honored to be recognized by the IAOP for our programs for innovation and growth,” said Tony DeNucci, managing director, Benefits Administration Outsourcing, Towers Watson. “We are proud to serve the employees, retirees and family members of the world’s finest companies, providing them with innovative benefit solutions, accurate benefits administration and an exceptional customer experience.”

“Buyers understand there are hundreds of qualified service providers and advisors out there, but what they really need to understand now is what makes each exceptional,” said IAOP CEO, Debi Hamill. “The new Global Outsourcing 100 and World’s Best Advisors have done just that. We’re proud to recognize Towers Watson for being among the highest-rated companies in size and growth.”

Employers and their workforce populations have demonstrated their satisfaction with Towers Watson’s outsourcing approach in several ways:

  • Outsourcing services have a 99% annual client retention rate.
  • 9 out of 10 clients extend their engagement with Towers Watson beyond the initial contract term.
  • 98% of individuals served by its outsourcing solutions report they are satisfied with Towers Watson’s customer service.
