Global professional services company Towers Watson (NYSE, NASDAQ: TW) announced that Roger Millay, the company’s chief financial officer, has been recognized by the Washington Business Journal for outstanding performance in his role as a corporate financial steward. The business newspaper named Millay one of 12 honorees for 2014 as part of their eighth annual CFO of the Year award program. The winners were honored at a luncheon at The Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner today. Millay is profiled in a special supplement to this week’s edition of the Washington Business Journal.

Millay has over 25 years of experience in financial officer positions and has served as chief financial officer at Towers Watson and its predecessor Watson Wyatt since August 2008. Prior to his current role, he held positions with Discovery Communications LLC, General Electric, Airgas and Arthur Young & Company. Millay has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia and a master’s degree in accounting from Georgetown University’s Graduate School of Business. He also is a certified public accountant.
