TransCanada Corp. : TransCanada CEO : Expect Keystone Route Decision By End Summer -Fox Business

TransCanada Corp. (TRP) Chief Executive Russell Girling said Friday he expects a decision from the U.S. State Dept. on the company's resubmitted application for the Keystone XL Pipeline by late Summer or the beginning of Fall.
In an interview on Fox Business Network, Girling said he hoped the State Dept. along with the Nebraska Department of Environmental Quality would come to a joint conclusion on the new application "by hopefully the end of summer."
Friday, TransCanada resubmitted its application for its controversial Keystone XL oil-pipeline expansion to the U.S. State Department and said it would supplement the application with a new proposed route for Nebraska, as soon as that route was decided.
Nebraska was a focal point for some of the most vocal opposition to the Keystone pipeline expansion as it was originally proposed.
