Transneft' : Astana hosts eighth meeting of IAOT managing board

On 7 September 2017, the eighth meeting of the governing board of the International Association of Oil Transporters, chaired by Director General of KazTransOil D.G. Dosanov and timed to the 20th anniversary of Kazakhstan's pipeline company, took place in the city of Astana, Kazakhstan.

Present at the meeting were representatives of all IAOT member companies. The delegation of Transneft was led by president N.P. Tokarev.

The meeting participants reviewed the effort of three permanent expert groups in the current year and updated the plan of the Association's activities for 2018. The companies agreed to continue joint exhibition activities under the aegis of IAOT and to participate in the ADIPEC tradeshow to be held in Abu Dhabi, UAE, in November next year.

On the sidelines of the IAOT session Transneft president N.P. Tokarev met with president of PetroChina Pipeline Company Limited Ling Xiao and Director General of KazTransOil D.G. Dosanov.

On September 6, at the invitation of KazTransOil, delegations of IAOT member companies visited the international trade fair EXPO-2017 that takes place in Astana. In the Russian Federation pavilion Transneft president N.P. Tokarev and Director General of Moscow Kremlin Museums E.Y. Gagarina presented the joint exposition and talked with representatives of Russian and Kazakh media outlets. Chair of the IAOT governing board, Board Chairman and Director General of MERO CR S. Bruna as well as Director General of KazTransOil D.G. Dosanov delivered their welcome addresses to journalists at Transneft's booth.

The ninth IAOT meeting will be held on 22-23 May 2018 in Prague, Czech Republic, hosted by the Association founder, MERO CR.
