TRANSNEFT Overhaul of ten cathodic and drainage protection stations has been conducted at the sections of Syzran branch of Penza - Saransk and Ufa - West Direction petroleum products trunk pipelines (PPTP).
As well, overhaul of EMP (electrochemical protection) facilities at the sections of petroleum products trunk pipelines of Bryansk branch of different length has been performed. Works have been performed at 249 kilometres of the linear portion of Kuybyshev - Bryansk PPTP and offshoots to Lipetsk and Lebedyan Oil Depots, 80 kilometres of Ufa - West Direction PPTP and offshoot to Nikiforovka Oil Depot, 41 kilometres of Section No. 41 PPTP and 113 kilometres of Section No. 42 PPTP.
Electrochemical protection (EMP) facilities are a set of equipment, meant for protection of underground pipelines against soil corrosion.
The works have been performed as part of the programme of overhaul of PPTP facilities of Transneft Druzhba for 2016.
