“The Travelers Championship continues to grow and improve each year, which allows the tournament to give more to local and regional charities,” said Jay Fishman, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Travelers. “I want to thank everyone who helped make the 2015 Travelers Championship a success. As a hometown company, we couldn’t be more proud to help support the local economy and charitable organizations that are making a real difference in the community.”

The Travelers Championship includes a week’s worth of entertainment and world-class golf. It also offers a platform for non-profit organizations to raise funds and awareness for their causes. This year, as part of the tournament’s commitment to charity, four young individuals from Connecticut who have demonstrated outstanding leadership in promoting charitable causes served as Honorary Co-Chairs.

The Travelers Championship has generated more than $9 million for over 500 charities since Travelers became the title sponsor in 2007.
