Treasury Wine Estates' commitment to quality has earned an impressive 107 medals for wines across its portfolio at the International Wine and Spirits Competition (IWSC), announced this week in London.

The awards were amassed by 17 brands from TWE's global portfolio, from Australia, New Zealand and the US.

Led by Penfolds, which was named Australian Wine Producer of the Year and also took home a Trophy and Gold medal for the Penfolds Grandfather Rare Tawny NV, the medal haul for wines from the TWE portfolio included 13 Gold and Gold Outstanding medals and 27 Silver Outstanding medals.

Wolf Blass has an exceptional record at the IWSC, having been named International Winemaker of the Year three times (1992, 2002 and 2013), and this year demonstrated its strength with 23 medals including three Gold Outstanding for the 2001 Wolf Blass White Label Riesling, 2012 Wolf Blass Grey Label Shiraz and 2005 Wolf Blass Platinum Shiraz.

From the iconic Napa Valley, Beringer was awarded six medals including a Gold Outstanding medal for the 2009 Beringer Private Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon and four Silver Outstanding medals.

Treasury Wine Estates CEO Michael Clarke was thrilled with the result.
