(the “Company”) (NYSE:TPH) today announced the commencement of an underwritten offering of 11,985,905 shares of its common stock by VIII/TPC Holdings, L.L.C., a fund affiliated with Starwood Capital Group.  VIII/TPC Holdings, L.L.C. will be the only selling stockholder.  The Company will not issue shares in the offering and will not receive any proceeds from the sale of shares by the selling stockholder in this offering.
