Trinseo S A : Announces Price Increases for Latex Binders in North America

Trinseo(NYSE: TSE) a global materials company and manufacturer of plastics, latex binders and synthetic rubber, today announcedthateffective February 1, 2017 or as contract terms permit, the company is increasing the prices of all Styrene Butadiene latex and Styrene Acrylic latex products sold into the carpet, paper, and performance latex markets in North America.

The increase will be $0.05/wet lb.

This price increase is being driven by increased costs in the manufacturing of these latexes.
