OKLAHOMA CITY, Jan. 5,
2012/PRNewswire/ -- Tronox Incorporated (TROX.PK)
("Tronox"), a leading producer and marketer of
titanium dioxide pigment, today announced that it has
appointed Daniel Greenwellas Senior Vice
President and Chief Financial Officer, effective
immediately. He will report to Chairman and Chief
Executive Officer Tom Casey.
Greenwell most recently served as Senior Vice President and
Chief Financial Officer of Terra Industries, Inc., a
leading, publicly listed North American producer and
marketer of nitrogen products, until it was acquired by CF
Industries Holdings, Inc.
Casey said, "We are very pleased to have an executive
of Dan's caliber join the Tronox team. With more
than 25 years of experience in management, information
technology, finance and public accounting, as well as
significant expertise in industrial materials businesses
and chemical operations, he will clearly be a tremendous
asset. Dan has also overseen numerous international
acquisitions and subsequent integrations, which will serve
us well as we progress forward with the acquisition of
Exxaro's Mineral Sands Operations."
Earlier in his career, Greenwell was Corporate Controller
at Belden, Inc., a leading global producer of wire and
cable products. Additionally, he served as Chief
Financial Officer of Zoltek Companies, Inc., and he held
management roles at Sigma Chemical Company as a
manufacturing operations manager and later as
Controller. He began his career with KPMG.
Greenwell received a Bachelor of Science degree in
Accounting from Truman State University.
