TT Hellenic Postbank S.A. : The New Directive Board

The Hellenic Financial Stability Fund in its capacity as the sole shareholder of New TT Hellenic Postbank, has elected during the General Assembly of 08.03.13 the new Directive Board of the Bank, which consists of 3 Executive and 4 Non Executive members. The composition of the new Directive Board, which came into formation, is as follows;

• George Kontos, Chairman - Non Executive Member
• Haralampos Siganos, Vice-Chairman and CEO - Executive Member
• Dimitrios Vlachos, Deputy CEO - Executive Member
• George Xyfaras, Executive Member
• Evangelos Athanasiou, Independent Non Executive Member
• Dorotheos Samoladas, Independent Non Executive Member
• Ioannis Filos, Independent Non Executive Member

The newly appointed Chairman of New Hellenic Postbank previously served as Advisor to the Management and Financial Director at Alpha Bank during 1996-2011, while he is currently a research associate to the Department of Banking and Financial Management, University of Piraeus, in the field of Banking Accounting. During his career he has also served as Chairman of the audit committees of Alpha Bank Romania, Alpha Bank Serbjia and JSC Astra Bank Ukraine; as a member of the Translation Committee for International Accounting Standards into Greek language, of IASB, and the Committee of Chart of Accounts for Banks. He has produced rich literary and scientific work and he speaks English and French.
