Nine Months sales increased by 30%, Turkish Airlines recorded 1.08 Billion TRY Operating Profit, 868 Million Net profit.

Turkish Airlines' 9M 2012 consolidated financial statements were reported to Istanbul Stock Exchange.

Compared to the same period of 2011, Turkish Airlines increased its sales revenue  by 30% to 11,2 Billion TRY and recorded 1,08 Billion TRY operating profit.  Net Profit increased by 655% compared to previous period to  868 Million TRY.  

For the same period, Turkish Airlines carried total of 29.1 million passengers with an increase of 20%.  Available Seat Km (ASK) and Revenue Per Km (RPK) went up by 19% and 27%, respectively. The Load Factor gained 5.3 points to 77,9%.  Compared to previous year  international to international transfer passengers increased by 46% with the share of 41,8% in total passenger carried. 

In the year 2012, with the 21 new international destinations the total number of destinations reached to 170 , while the number of countries reached to 90.  Hence, Turkish Airlines has the title of the airline with the network to the most countries in the world.

Turkish Airlines has given the firm order of 35 wide body aircraft to be delivered until 2017, 200th aircraft joined the fleet during the week.
