New York, NY - April 27, 2016 - 21st Century Fox today announced that Michael Regan, its Executive Vice President, Global Public Policy, is stepping down, effective June 30. Mr. Regan has led Fox's legislative and regulatory efforts in Washington, D.C. for fifteen years. His portfolio was expanded three years ago to include all public policy initiatives globally.

Mr. Regan will continue on as an advisor to ensure a smooth leadership transition. Mr. Regan's successor, who will be based in Washington D.C., will be named shortly.

Mr. Regan joined News Corporation in 2001 to run the company's Washington, D.C. office as senior vice president, government affairs and was promoted to executive vice president in 2004. In 2013, Mr. Regan's portfolio was expanded globally, overseeing regional offices in Washington, London, Brussels and Hong Kong. Mr. Regan continued in that role at 21st Century Fox following the company's separation into two distinct companies.

Prior to joining News Corporation, Mr. Regan was senior vice president of external affairs at NextWave Telecom. Previously, he worked as telecommunications counsel to the Committee on Commerce of the U.S. House of Representatives, where he advised the Committee and the House on all telecommunications-related legislation, including the Telecommunications Act of 1996. Mr. Regan received his law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law and his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel.
