As part of the Tyco Cares initiative, the company and employees will support the following events in the coming weeks:


    --  Princeton, N.J., October 4 - Employees participated in a 5k run for the
        West Windsor Volunteer Fire Department, with the company serving as a
        corporate sponsor of the event.
    --  Brazil, October 10 - The company will provide funding for next school
        year to Fundo Carioca to create increased access for electronic security
        training programs.
    --  South Africa, October 16 - Employees will work with local schools in
        Johannesburg and Cape Town to repaint, repair and restore buildings.
    --  United Kingdom, week of October 20 - Tyco will hold fundraising events
        for crime victim support at its branch offices and employees will
        volunteer as victim support counselors.
    --  Westminster, Mass., October 22 - Tyco will host Youth Venture program
        participants, who will have an opportunity to showcase their projects.
    --  China, October 25 - In Beijing and Shanghai, employees will participate
        in fundraising events for the Dandelion School, which educates children
        of migrant workers.
    --  Anaheim, Calif., October 22-25 - The company will provide funding
        support and employees will volunteer for the Phoenix Society for Burn
        Survivors, World Burn Congress, to help ensure that burn survivors have
        the necessary support on their road to recovery.
    --  Monroe, N.C., October 25 - Tyco will sponsor and employees will
        volunteer at the National Volunteer Fire Council's National Junior
        Firefighter Academy, to help develop the leadership skills for the next
        generation of firefighters.
