Seventh court joins the NorCal Collaboration Project for Tyler's Odyssey software suite

Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) today announced that the Superior Court of California, County of Sutter, will join six other Northern California (NorCal) superior courts to implement its Odyssey®court case management software solution.

The court signed a five-year software as a service (SaaS) agreement using the state's Master Services Agreement (MSA) that gives California's 58 superior courts the ability to purchase Tyler's Odyssey integrated court case management system at pre-negotiated terms, conditions and pricing outlined in the MSA. The MSA was developed by a group of IT leaders and court managers within the California judicial system as a way for the state's superior courts to efficiently purchase a case management system.

As part of the NorCalcollaboration group, Sutter joins the superior courts of Alpine, Calaveras, Glenn, Lassen, Tehama and Yuba to implement Odyssey together to achieve cost savings through shared configuration and implementation activities. The court will use Odyssey for criminal, civil, probate, traffic, juvenile and family case types, as well as e-filing. To date, 22 California superior courts have announced that they have chosen Tyler's Odyssey court management solution.

About 60 judicial staff will use the Odyssey system at Sutter Superior Court, which processes 20,000 case filings per year. Sutter County has approximately 95,000 residents and is located along the Sacramento River in the Sacramento Valley.

In total, Odyssey serves more than 100 million residents, a third of the U.S. population, in more than 600 counties across 21 states. Odyssey has been successfully deployed statewide in Indiana, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota and South Dakota; statewide implementations in Idaho, Maryland, Oregon, Rhode Island and Washington are currently underway.
