UBS : says searches at German unit over, no documents seized

ZURICH (Reuters) - Swiss bank UBS said on Wednesday searches at its German unit were over and that no documents were seized after prosecutors launched an investigation against UBS clients in Germany on grounds of suspected tax evasion.

"Currently there are no investigative proceedings against employees of UBS Europe SE," UBS said in an updated statement, referring to its bank in Frankfurt.
