UGL Services, a division of UGL Limited (ASX: UGL), and Sun Life Stadium, home of the Miami Dolphins, today announced they have signed a five-year facility services agreement that is projected to total $10 million over the life of the contract under which UGL Services will provide custodial and event support services.

UGL Services full-time staff performs daily cleaning and detailing services for the stadium and outdoor areas. In addition, the company assigns additional staff for several on-going events to ensure the facility is safe and clean at all times. The company has already introduced its UGL Services Green Cleaning procedures using non-toxic cleaning agents and has begun updating equipment with the most sustainable and environmentally advanced models.

The Sun Life Stadium contract adds to UGL Services' considerable portfolio of public venue clients where the company provides a wide range of standard facility management services to sports and entertainment facilities, including football stadiums, baseball parks, hockey rinks and multi-sport facilities. Its services include maintenance, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, HVAC and custodial. These core services are complemented with specialized sports and entertainment facility services that include complete stadium audio and visual services, as well as peak load game/event support. UGL Services also provides surface (turf) maintenance for playing and practice fields for major college/university facilities.

In addition to major facilities in North America, UGL Services supports sports venues in other markets, including the Singapore Sports Hub, as well as Khalifa International Stadium and Aspire Sport Hall (Doha, Qatar), home to the 2016 Summer Olympics.
