Ukrtelecom JSC denies the media reports about possible disconnection of the communication facilities in Sevastopol from the power supply due to the debt of the Operator. At present, the Company has received the necessary guarantees for the stable power supply of its infrastructure from the energy supplier. In addition, all facilities of Ukrtelecom JSC are equipped with autonomous power systems that will allow serving customers in the event of the power outage.

The Operator does not rule out that local authorities of Sevastopol and other stakeholders,after the violation of property rights of Ukrtelecom JSC to the city duct bank, will continue discrediting the Company's activities and attempting to influence the operability of its infrastructure.

Specifically, on the night of August 31, 2014 Ukrtelecom specialists recorded intentional damage to the backbone fiber optic cable transmission line at the Sevastopol-Saky section. On-line repairs have been carried out, with telecommunications services currently being fully provided to the subscribers in Sevastopol.
