Reaction to inaccurate statements in the media

The Management Board of Uljanik d.d. firmly denies the accuracy and truthfulness of statements published by some media regarding payment of bonuses in the amount of millions to the Members of the Management Board of Uljanik d.d. and severely condemns this and similar attempts to present untrue information with the aim of misinforming the public and creating an hostile atmosphere among workers and all actors involved in the company's restructuring programme which is currently being implemented.

In the semi-annual financial report for 2017, on page 8 under note 5 - other business expenditure, under entry Remunerations to Employees 2.338 mil. HRK in 2017 and 2.015 mil. HRK in the same period in 2016, which represents remuneration and/or compensations for 506 workers of Uljanik d.d. as regulated by Law (compensation to workers - assistance for cases of sicknesses, redundancies, holiday bonuses, jubilee awards, redundancy terminations, compensations for transportation to work and from work), the stated numbers were entirely wrongly interpreted which misleads the entire investment public.
