On March 23rd 2018 a working meeting was held in Uljanik where representatives of Uljanik and Juraj Dobrila University of Pula discussed topics of mutual interest and a cooperation agreement was signed.

Following the initiative for cooperation between Uljanik and Juraj Dobrila University of Pula, both sides signed a mutual cooperation agreement on scientific research, development and education projects.
The Initiative on cooperation between Uljanik and Juraj Dobrila University of Pula was launched in 2016 with the support of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts and Rectors' Conference of the Republic of Croatia.
