UMW Holdings Berhad is a Malaysia-based investment holding company. The Company operates through four segments: automotive, equipment, manufacturing and engineering, and others. The automotive segment is engaged in the import, assembly and marketing of passenger and commercial vehicles and related spares. The equipment segment is involved in the trading and leasing of a range of light and heavy equipment including related spares for use in the industrial, construction and agricultural sectors. Its manufacturing and engineering segment is involved in the manufacturing, assembly and trading of automotive parts, blending, packaging, marketing and distribution of lubricants, manufacturing of aerospace engine component and other established agency lines in the automotive field. Its others segment is engaged in the activities of information technology, property development and management, management and corporate services and various professional services, and research and development.
