RICHMOND, Va., Jan. 27, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Union First Market Bankshares Corporation (NASDAQ: UBSH) has declared a quarterly dividend of $0.07 per share. The dividend amount is the same as the prior quarter dividend.
Fourth quarter net income available to common shareholders, which deducts dividends and discount accretion on preferred stock from net income, was $7.26 million or $0.28 per fully diluted share, compared to $8.54 million or $0.33 per share, in the third quarter and $3.90 million or $0.15 per share, for the fourth quarter last year.
Based on the stock's closing price of $13.83 on January 12, 2012, the dividend yield is 2.02%. The dividend is payable on March 1, 2012 to shareholders of record as of February 17, 2012.
