UNIPETROL, a.s. ('Unipetrol') informs that UNIPETROL RPA, s.r.o. ('Unipetrol RPA'), a 100% subsidiary of Unipetrol, received from the respective insurer and re-insurers a confirmation of providing the sixth payment on account in the amount of USD 120 million for the Unipetrol RPA claim regarding the Steam Cracker unit accident at Chempark Záluží, Litvínov on 13 August 2015.

The amount of USD 120 million will be recognized in the financial statements for the second quarter of the year 2017 on accrual basis.
