United Tech Close to Rocketdyne Sale to GenCorp

United Technologies Corp. (>> United Technologies Corporation) is close to selling Rocketdyne to GenCorp Inc. (>> Gencorp Inc), Reuters reported late Wednesday, citing two unnamed sources.
The deal may be announced later this week, one of the sources told Reuters. United Technologies is attempting to divest its non-core assets, the report said.
Rocketdyne is the world's largest manufacturer of liquid-fueled rocket propulsion systems, according to the report. No financial terms were reported, and United Technologies declined comment. GenCorp wasn't immediately available for comment, Reuters added.
