United Technologies Corp. (>> United Technologies Corporation) Chief Financial Officer Greg Hayes said jet engine sales at its Pratt & Whitney unit have been slow as airlines conserve cash, CNBC reported Thursday.
Hayes said he is seeing "a lot of pressure on pricing," CNBC reported.
CNBC reporter Phil Lebeau said "we checked with" General Electric Co.'s (GE) aviation business, which has also noticed slowness in the jet market.
Hayes, who said United Technologies gets about $50 million to $60 million of revenue from Greece, said "Greece doesn't bother me except for the contagion effect," CNBC reported.
