Today, Vista Community Clinic (VCC) received seven reading stations and 80 children’s books during an event to celebrate the donation from UnitedHealthcare. Community leaders, UnitedHealthcare executives and VCC staff joined UnitedHealthcare mascot Dr. Health E. Hound for a reading circle and healthy activities with VCC patient families. Participating children received goodie bags with coloring pages, jump ropes and a new book.
